Candidate Table Columns

You can add custom columns to the candidates table view by configuring custom metadata types in Salesforce Setup. Here's how:

  1. Access Setup: Click on the Setup gear icon in Salesforce
  2. Navigate to Custom Metadata Types: Go to Setup > Custom Metadata Types
  3. Find flair Table Columns: Look for the metadata type called "flair Table Columns"
  4. View existing columns: You'll see existing column configurations for candidates, some active and some inactive
  5. Activate existing columns: You can activate inactive columns (like "phone") by setting them to active
  6. Click to add a new column
  7. Set the Object Name to "Candidate"
  8. Enter the Field API name (e.g., "flair__LinkedIn__c")
  9. Set the position/order
  10. Click Save
  11. Refresh the view: Reload the candidates page to see your new columns
  12. Adjust column display: If the new column doesn't appear immediately, manually edit "Columns to Display" as your column selections are saved per job in your browser

The new column will appear in the table once data is entered for that field on candidate records.
