Enable Double Opt-In for Candidate Applications

Enable the "Double Opt-In" feature to enhance candidate consent and email verification. When this option is activated, candidates who sign up will receive an initial email asking them to confirm their subscription.

Enabling Double Opt-In

1. Click on App Launcher
2. Type "career" in the search box
3. Click on Career Portals
4. Click on your Career Portal
5. Click on Details
6. Check the Double Opt In checkbox
7. Enter the link to your Privacy policy URL
8. Click Save

How It Works

Once enabled, candidates who apply for jobs through your career portal will see a second checkbox in the application form that asks them to consent to having their data retained for future job opportunities.

When candidates check this box and submit their application, they will receive a confirmation email asking them to verify their subscription. This ensures that:

• Candidates have explicitly consented to data retention
• Email addresses are verified and valid
• You comply with data protection regulations

Verifying the Configuration

After saving your changes, you can verify that Double Opt-In is working correctly:

1. Visit your Career Portal via the provided link
2. Click on any job posting
3. Fill out the application form
4. You should see the consent checkbox in the application form
5. After submission, candidates will receive a confirmation email
